Miter Saw

A Circular Saw on a Swing

A miter saw, also commonly referred to as a chop saw, is a circular saw attached to a swing and a table. These saws are used for making cuts at precise angles in a variety of materials, and are very commonly used to cut 2x4 wood pieces. Compound miter saws, like the one we have in the PDL, are adjustable in 2 angles, resulting in a variety of possible cuts. Like a circular saw, a miter saw is an aggressive cutting tool and needs to be used with caution.
