Dremel

A Dremel is a specific brand of rotary tool with a variety of special bits that are useful in many different situations. A Dremel can be used for sanding, cutting, polishing, grinding, and more. These small tools need to be used with caution, as reaction forces on the tool can cause unpredictable motions and loose material coming off of cuts can fly in unpredictable directions. A prototyper also has to be careful of making cuts that look like a "hack" when using a rotary tool, as it is easy for cuts made with a Dremel to look sloppy.
