Drill Mill

Benchtop Milling Machine

A drill mill is a smaller version of a common machine shop milling machine. The drill-press-like form factor allows the machine to be much smaller than a typical mill while retaining the functionality of using end mills for side and bottom cutting. The XY stage on a drill mill allows the user to move spinning bits precisely around the workpiece. This machine is most often used for drilling holes in precise patterns, milling slots and grooves, and changing the thickness of rectilinear parts.
